The Star 1670, two of
which we have, is similar to the 1520
concerning the concept and the equipment.
However, it has a further, (4th) cabin
with its own bathroom and altogether 7
beds, if you don’t use the lounge for
sleeping. It also has a seating bathtub.
The roomy cockpit with an external
refrigerator is covered with a hardtop,
so you can invite friends from the
neighbouring ships and make many friends.
Being half gliders the Staryachts are
not really the fastest, but if you
choose an economic speed (8 to 15 knots)
you will save fuel and money. The
hydraulic gangway makes every shore
leave easy. The yacht is also equipped
with a 4-stick gear shifting, an
autopilot and a generator.
If you want to save some fuel: This
yacht needs only 15 to 20 l fuel per
hour at a cosy trawler speed. |
